The new year has started and we are blessed to still be here, healthy, rested, willing and able to achieve greatness.  2015 might have been great for some and challenging for others but whatever you went through last year, make it a point to make 2016 a great year!  Start by removing all the negativity out of your life, set yourself goals and work towards achieving them.  The best way to achieve your goals is to setup timelines and deadlines.

People close to me know that I always preach about not stressing or worrying and to pray and leave your worries in God’s hands, he’ll sort it out for you, and trust me he always does.  Stressing wont solve your problem in anyway instead it will just make you sick and drag you down more, and if you trust God you’ll never stress ‘cause you’ll know he is already taking care of your problem.

The one thing that gets people down in life and lets them lose focus is when you start comparing yourself to someone else and forget that we are all running our own race.  So what if your friend has more than you, you need to do you and get to where you need to in your own way or time.  Stop worrying about what people think of you, or how they judge you.  You not living your life for them, they should be worried about their own lives, and most people who judge other people usually have issues with themselves and need to point out other people’s flaws to make them feel good.

Lets get back to making 2016 great… make sure career wise you are doing what you are destined to do and if you aren’t, work on a strategy to get there.  Relationship wise never force issues, and don’t be in a relationship for all the wrong reasons, don’t cheat rather leave if you are unhappy and have tried everything to make it work, never become desperate and settle.  Learn to forgive yourself, we all make mistakes and dwelling in the past won’t get you anywhere.  Clear your heart of jealousy, hatred, anger, and negative thoughts.  If your heart is clear and pure, your blessings will come your way but if it is hard and bitter you are just blocking your blessings.  Don’t focus on the negative always focus on the positive.

This is your year, this is your life, you are blessed, favoured and no one can take that away from you, so go and make 2016 great!
